All new patients, as well as those returning for their annual eye exam, will undergo a complete eye examination, which includes dilation of your eyes and a refraction (the determination of your best corrected vision). Our practice is home to ten subspecialty trained doctors, providing treatment for cataract; glaucoma; retinal conditions, including macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy; cornea conditions; and neuro-ophthalmology. We have helped many patients improve their vision and maintain their optimal eye health. We offer the latest in LASIK laser vision correction as well. We employ trained ophthalmic assistants and use the most sophisticated technologies to obtain accurate preliminary measurements and data. All results are carefully reviewed by our doctors, allowing them to diagnose your eye condition and develop an individually tailored plan that will ensure the best possible treatment. You may also visit our office to inquire about elective facial enhancement procedures or oculoplastic surgery for either cosmetic or reconstructive purposes. Some of the more popular elective enhancement procedures include eyelid surgery and Botox injections. Financing Our fees are comparable to those charged by other ophthalmologists in the area. We require payment at the time of service. At the end of your visit, you will receive an itemized statement, which you may submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. As a courtesy to our Medicare patients, we accept assignment for patients with Traditional Medicare for all covered services and will submit the claims for those services ( this excludes Medicare replacement plans). By law patients are required to pay the 20% co-insurance and any unmet deductibles, as well as any non-covered services, such as refraction. , PA does not participate with any other insurance plans. Emergencies Emergencies during office hours will be screened by our trained medical personnel. Your ocular emergency will receive the prompt attention of one of our doctors. The particular doctor you see may be based upon availability or the nature of your specific problem. Emergencies after office hours and on weekends will be handled by our doctor-on-call. If you have an emergency, please call our office and our staff or answering service will relay the message to the doctor. We will make every effort to attend to your needs as quickly and prudently as possible.
